(More customer reviews)I adore Miku Hatsune and this figure but I will defiantly say that purchasing this figure online is difficult.
I first purchased her from a seller known Tisinc99 and she was sadly, a bootleg.
After returning the item I ordered from another seller and obtained the correct figure.
She is adorable and is sitting next to my PC as I write this review.
She is very well sculpted, and her long pigtails allow her to stand on her own power (without the base) The painting is well done and the faces *comes with three and a different hairpiece* are very cute.
She is also very well articulated even with the large head and small limbs.
She also comes with an arm piece bent at the elbow, a leg piece bent at the knee and her trademark leek. Overall if you can find this figure *for a good price,I've seen some of the prices on here and they're absurd* I would highly recommend it.
Also some tips for recognizing a Miku bootleg *from personal experience, sigh...*
-The faces are off, in the original her face with her eyes to the side have her mouth open in a smile, when her eyes are pointing forward, her mouth is closed, this is the opposite in the bootleg
-Blush, the faces have an abnormal looking red tint on it's cheeks.
-Paint, the paint is too shiny, the regular paint for nendoroids usually is not lustrous whereas the bootleg looks like a certain vampire in the sunlight *cue eyeroll here*
-Overall quality, this is obvious most bootlegs are basically falling apart, the hair pieces are usually loose or extremely tight, the same scenario for the limbs.
I would also suggest looking for stickers such as "AAA Anime Distribution" or a Kadokawa sticker.

Amazing Dolls Amazing McKayla Interactive Review

(More customer reviews)After reading the bad reviews this doll received I felt I had to add my own. Our 4 1/2 year old loves this doll. Yes you do have to wait until McKayla is done talking or moving to interact with her but this just re-enforces taking turns when speaking. She does have a specific design for play but there are lots of variations to play whether it be guessing animal sounds, silly faces, tracking her toys, spoon or bottle. People have complained about having to yell at the doll in order for it to hear them. We have found that if you talk clearly and try to avoid other noises in the room it works just fine. Overall this doll is very fun and interactive but you have to decide if it fits with your child. They have to be old enough to understand how she works and not to get frustrated while trying to figure her out. The only reason for the 4 stars is a battery issue. After 1 day McKayla started saying her batteries were getting tired and she needed to rest. Changed them out with fresh ones and put the old one in other toys and the worked just fine. Perhaps she didn't need new batteries but just needed to sleep. I have emailed the company to hopefully get an answer to this.

Little Tikes Sing Along Microphone Review

(More customer reviews)This toy looked like fun in the store, but it is a HUGE letdown. Unfortunately, I couldn't test it in the store because the cheap batteries the company puts in there were dead. So I thought I'd give it a shot anyway and just put in my own batteries and try it at home...in hopes that it would be cute enough to give to my son for Christmas. I was extremely disappointed. The sound effects and music are LOUD. Usually, I am not bothered by the loudness of toys...but this toy was really ridiculous!! Plus, I thought that the microphone part was just that, a microphone where you would hear your voice coming through. It's not. It's totally fake. That is the best part for a child (my child, anyway)to hear his/her voice coming through. So what's the point to having a "microphone" that doesn't do anything? I gave this toy 1 star only because there is not an option for NO STARS. This toy is going back to the store today.

The Penguins of Madagascar 5 inch plush - King Julien Review

(More customer reviews)I purchased this plush from e-Bay several days ago and while I like any version of this Madagascar character - as I think the entire movie should have been based around this fellow - I think there are some things worth mentioning about the price listed here and the product itself.
First of all, DO NOT BUY THIS TOY FROM AMAZON AT $30. You will be getting ripped off.
The prices for toys like this are usually always higher here because it isn't a very popular item on Amazon and sellers may assume people will accept shelling out more money for a toy due to its scarcity - very much a "take it or leave it" situation.
I got this exact toy on eBay for $12.99 plus $2.99 shipping from a good seller.
That doesn't mean everyone will be able to purchase this exact item for that price but on average eBay sellers have to list items at competetive prices as there may be more than a few different people offering uncommen items such as this for sale (or to bid on).
E-bay items are usually offered for lower prices (on average, it's by no means a guarantee) because of the greater available supply of any given item.
I also purchased the other KING JULIEN & MORT TALKING PLUSH (Mort is attached and peeking out from behind King Julien's back, approx. 15" tall) advertised for sale on Amazon at nearly $60.00, for $29.99 on e-Bay.
Now on to this little toy's actual product review...
The main body material seems durable although the felt-like material used as his "crown" while relatively sturdy may tear over time. The eyes are embroidered patches so quite a nice touch and the other plush Julien features are consistent to the movie Julien and well-made. The legs are sewn on and don't offer any support and are just kind of floppy.
However my main issues were with this toy's body likeness being so different to that of the movie character and a minor voice chip issue.
The pictures of this item on e-Bay were taken from above and made it difficult for me to tell the height at the time I purchased it.
This is approximately a 4" round (not including his crown) King Julien plush ball head with roughly 2" long arms and legs and a headdress - making him roughly 7 1/2" overall. And he also has a pointy nose.
The effect of this design makes him look less like the character from Madagascar and more like a rat - like something out of Disney/Pixar's Ratatouille.
I realize this toy was intentionally made not to look like the character's body in the movie but I wanted to mention it in case someone specifically wanted a full-body Julien plush.
The voice sounds exactly like that of the character in the movie and is clear except I had to listen to the phrases several times to be sure of what he was saying, but maybe that's just me.
The voice chip in this toy (mine, at least) is also a little on the sensitive side.
It's been sitting next to my keyboard and went off once while I was typing a little too hard.
You really only have to lightly tap his head to activate his voice.
These are the 4 phrases he says, to the best of my knowledge:
1. "I am royalty! I cannot be told exactly what to do!"
2. "My booty senses nearby movin' and groovin'.
3. "The bossing-ness is what I do."
4. "I really must complement my brain."
It's a nice little toy but not worth the $30 it's listed at here.
I would either try to find this on e-Bay for a reasonable price or spend a bit more and go for the better, full-size King Julien plush with little Mort peeking from behind his back.

+ Excellent price to functionality ratio. It walks, it talks and it can balance on 1 leg...It can even do a somersault (to name just a few things)...All for about the price of a Robosapien V2. But in terms of robotics ability the V2 is a $0.99 Store cheapy in comparison.
+ Comes packaged with 3xAAA Eneloop batteries and a battery charger. This is an excellent addition. If you're not familiar with Eneloops brand batteries, in a nutshell they have an outstandingly low self-discharge rate while in storage. So no worries if the Robot goes off to storage for a bit, the batteries will still be decently charged when I-Sobot makes a re-appearance
+ It walks. Not some gimmicky pseudo walking, I-Sobot actually stands on 2 feet and takes human-like steps.
+ It can get back to a standing position, using 1 of 2 sequences based on whether it's on its back or belly.
+ It can balance on 1 leg and do kicks (front kicks, like kicking a soccer ball, and side-kicks like doing martial arts).
+ 4 Modes of operation:
+++ Remote Control Mode: Essentailly a real-time mode almost like a video game, where your inputs have almost immediate results.
+++ Special Action Mode: Enter in special key sequences and I-Sobot does pre-defined actions, such as doing a re-enactment of the "go ahead, make my day" from Dirty Harry.
+++ Program Mode: Enter in multiple sequences from the other modes and save them to be played in order
+++ Voice Command Mode: I-Sobot reacts accordingly to certain voice queues.
+ I-Sobot was conceptualized and made in Japan. Anyone familiar with the Hobby of Humanoid Robotics knows that Japan is essentially the forerunner of the hobby, not to mention the Japanese following for it (compared to any other country, especially America) is far higher. This makes the I-Sobot both an impressive feat of engineering and durable/reliable.
+ Excellent re-playability. Take the Tickle-Me Elmo TMX as an example. I bought one for my young son and only after a couple of minutes of watching it do the same things over and over, he lost interest and Elmo has been collecting dust ever since. The I-Sobot, on the other hand, has kept him near mesmerized for a couple of weeks and even now that's its been months later, I-Sobot still makes near daily appearances to entertain him.^-- The Cons --^
- The I-Sobot DEVOURS battery power! If the robot is going to be used on a regular basis, I'd highly recommend buying at least 2 more sets (6 more AAA size) of batteries. The robot has 17 servos, so it's to be expected and par for the course to power this little marvel.
- No volume adjustment. The speech and sound F/X is quite loud and unfortunately there's no volume adjustment.
- Effective on flat, even surfaces only (like Hardwood Floors). It'll work on carpet and such, but not reliably.Final Words
Especially now that the I-Sobot can be had for under 200 hundred dollars (with a little shopping around, WELL under 200), it's a great time to pickup one of these truly bi-pedal humanoid robots. You'll find yourself coming back to it again and again, not to mention anyone you show it to is impressed at seeing something about the size of a chunky action figure walking, talking, kicking and doing air guitar!
If you've ever had a fascination with robots, the I-Sobot is the real deal.

As a result, she is really spoiled and will typically discard her old toys for the latest present. Not so with the Leappad. She loves it! It really is neat. The books that come with it are great -- one asks you questions, like your name, favorite food, favorite color, etc.; you talk into the microphone; and then it uses your responses throughout the story. The other book is about a frog (the Leapfrog?) and it has a story and games -- like rhyming games -- and helps out with your letters (something she is very into right now). She also has a PowerTouch system, and while she will tote that out from time to time to play a song from Blues Clues or Elmo, she never had much interest. I have a feeling this is something that she's not going to lose interest in or outgrow too quickly. A steal for $20!

(More customer reviews)I bought this for my 3 year old and my 2 year old also loves it. I'll admit thatI've spent my share of time messing around with it too. The kids love the joystick that makes rocket go up and down and the globe turn. The games are age appropriate and fun.
It is a bit difficult to get rocket over the exact spot you need to complete a mission but I'm sure it would be easier for a 4 or 5 year old compared to my toddlers.
The toy is on the loud side which almost prevented me from buying it- but my kids played with it so much at the store that I couldn't leave it.

(More customer reviews)If you are a fan of the Knight Rider tv series back in the 80s, you will know what this car is... I have been waiting for it to come in this scale (1/18) for 10 years.. It has finally been produced!!! Got it back in November last year when it was first released..And boy was I happy when it arrived at my doorstep...
This model is very detailed except fot the wrong coloured orange foglights on the front.. They are suppose to be white like the rest.. Other than that, this model is the best to represent KITT.. Detailed dashboards, removable t-tops, working scanner light, ejector seat and a working grappling hook on the front. Be careful though not to overpull it as it could get jammed.. Also comes with opening doors, hood and trunk..
Highly recommended only for serious collectors and fans of the series!!!

"A" mode has a lite sensor that when (quite a significante lite change occurs) says danger will robinson in the same voice as the tv robot has. "B" mode has a button that when you press it says "my sensors indicate an intruder is present" as well as "danger will robinson". very cute, arms pop out or snap in manually, led lites when it talks in the same voice as the tv robot. it has a spring wind type of if you push it backwards a inch or so it rolls forwards about 4 or 5 inches, like ol timey toys. i love it, but, im a kid forever type, i wanted to be will with a robot sidekick. al fischer

"Little Touch LeapPad" is for children ages 6 months to 3 years.
"My First LeapPad" is for younger children ages 3 to 5 and can not grow with the child.
"LeapPad" is for ages 4 through 10. It grows with child accepting "Quantum" books.
"LeapPad Plus Writing" is the same as LeapPad, but the pen can switch to a writing mode and you actually write in the books and then erase them to do it again. You don't have to use the writing books, you can just use it as a regular LeapPad.
"LeapPad Plus Microphone" is the same as LeapPad, but it can record and playback child's voice. You can use microphone-enhanced books for this feature, but you don't need to.
"LeapPad Plus Writing and Microphone" is the same as LeapPad, but it incorporates the writing tool and microphone if desired.
"Quantum Pad" is for ages 8 through 11.

(More customer reviews)We bought this for our 3 year old son. He loves it. The software is super easy to use. My Son's attention span isn't as long as the amount of music this can hold. My only complaint is the voice record feature. It is one button on the mp3 player and if your child pushes it it will record automaticly. Any and all sound including interference from other electronic devices. Makes a terrible sound. You then have to plug the MP3 into your computer to erase all the files recorded via the voice record button. Also, these voice record files land under the favorites category. This is the first category that comes on whenever you turn on the unit. A possible way to avoid this is to fill up the MP3 as much as you can so there is no room for recording. However it is hard to find that exact golden number so that you have 000 MBs/KBs left. I have yet to hit that nail on the head. Aside from this one long winded complaint I would reccomend this unit even though it is a bit $$.
