(More customer reviews)I received this clock (brand new from Amazon) as a birthday gift and 5 of the LCDs on the left hand side of the clock do not work. The time is unreadable, which is a pretty basic, important function for a clock. Bummer. I received it as a gift a few weeks after the giver purchased it and then didn't plug it in for a few days. (I also have an 8 month old baby and am busy owning a business, so spending my time returning a defective product is not at the top of my to do list.) I went to process the return tonight (just wanted to exchange it for one that works) and found out that the return window for Amazon is only 30 days and the window expired yesterday. Arrgh. For the cost, I would have expected it to work. The box looked pristine, so my impression is that the clock was defective at the factory and it was not a problem caused by shipping damage. I would not buy this clock. I am also not going to use Amazon anymore- not allowing a replacement of a defective item at 31 days is just plain horrible customer service. Its going in the trash.
