(More customer reviews)I bought the solar powered talking Bible for my husband's birthday. It wouldn't work out of the box, even though the instructions say it should arrive fully charged. I've charged it for three days with sun and lightbulbs, but it won't work yet. I live in the midwest; is that the problem? No AC charger is supplied, so I have to locate one to buy if sunshine around here isn't enough to charge it. One more try, and if it still won't work, it's boing back into that dark box and back to the supplier. Phooey; no gift for my husband tomorrow, I guess. Maybe I'll never know if the sound and volume are decent.
